LingMold has a perfect system for design. During the quotation process, our Engineering Department is able to provide the preliminary technical analysis to assist potential customers with improvements to, and feasibility of, their designs. Our analysis will show all the main features of both the part and tool. These include: Parting line, Gate type and location, Ejector pin location(s), Cooling line location(s), Slides and side action mechanics. We can anticipate any problems, and will make suggestions for improvement.

After your order is issued, Lingmold incorporates any additional customer requirements and/or standards into the preliminary design. A“Moldflow”computer simulation analysis is done to assist in ascertaining gate location(s), cooling improvements, help provide uniform shrinkage, and reduce warpage. We continue to suggest improvements and solutions to any anticipated problems. Our Engineering Department will then provide a complete mold design which includes the engineering concept and a complete overview of the mold’s function(s).

All of the components of our molds are fully detailed in 2D drawings, as well as 3D solid models. We use the latest up to date Computer systems such as Pro-E, Solidworks, Catia, AutoCAD, etc.
